Pondicherry University is a premier central university located in the Union Territory of Puducherry, India. Established in 1985 by an act of Parliament, the university has a sprawling campus covering 800 acres near the Bay of Bengal. It offers over 120 courses across a range of disciplines including Management and Business Administration, Commerce, Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences, Sciences, Engineering, Architecture, Law, Medicine and Allied Sciences, Animation and Design, and Pharmacy.
