Library

The Guru Jambheshwar University Library was established in October 1995 and is housed in a three-story circular edifice. The name of the library is placed before the name of Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar, a prominent Indian jurist, economist, politician, and social reformer. The University Library has a seating capacity of 400 people. The Library is open Monday through Friday from 9.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 11.00 a.m. to 7.00 p.m. The Night Reading Hall is available from 8 a.m. to 12 a.m., however it is open around the clock during exams. From January to December 2017, the Library received 143834 visitors. During this time, a total of 40653 books were issued for home lending.

Sports

The University Sports Department was founded in 1996. The entire Sports Complex is situated across 40 acres. The Sports Complex includes one hall for badminton with two synthetic badminton courts, one hall for table tennis with four tables, a carom board, and chess, one conditioning hall for men with a 13-station multi-gym, one conditioning hall for women with a six-station yoga and weight-lifting studio, three half-cemented cricket pitches, one ground each for football, handball, cricket, and a 400-meter athletic track, and three volleyball courts. In addition, there are two cemented basketball courts with lights, two volleyball courts with fencing and lighting, and two synthetic and one cemented lawn tennis courts with lights and fencing within the Sports Complex.Summer sports events are scheduled from 05:30 a.m. to 08:30 a.m. Evenings 04:30 P.M. to 08:30 P.M., and mornings 06:00 A.M. to 09:00 A.M. throughout the winter season. Evenings from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. for University students and staff. During tournaments, sports equipment/kits are distributed to both students and university employees. The 15 Institutes were associated with the Universities of Sirsa, Fatehabad, and Hisar. This University organised inter-college competitions in several games, and some of them were also granted to associated institutes.
