The Central University of Jammu was founded in 2011 under the Central Universities Act of 2009. The National Assessment and Accreditation Council has granted accreditation to the university (NAAC). The University Grants Commission recognises CU Jammu (UGC). The All India Council for Technical Education has approved Central University of Jammu (AICTE). The university provides courses in science, management, engineering, arts, teaching, and research, among other subjects. The Central University of Jammu offers diploma, B.Sc. (H) and M.Sc. integrated, B.A. and B.Ed. integrated, B.Voc., PG diploma, M.Sc., M.Tech, M.B.A, M.A, M.Ed., and Ph.D. courses. Admission to the courses is dependent on the candidates’ CUCET merit scores. UGC/NET/UGC-CSIR NET/SLET/GATE/M are required for the Ph.D. programme.
